In 2017 Michael was commissioned to do a painting of Harold Henry Stream III. He did this painting from five different photographs that were obtained over a period of many days. Michael sailed his yacht to different coves in the Sea of Cortes following Mr. Stream around while Mr. Stream was on his yacht called Kawil. Michael has had a friendship with Mr. Stream for close to 10 years now where they share such things as sailing, shooting , diving, cuisine and their friendship.
